Best Lightweight Single Stroller

Travel strollers aren't any lighter or more compact than this. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a chic rectangle shape, and the wheels are much easier to turn than other styles.

The stroller also comes with a large storage area under the seat and a shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry around when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can cause quite a bit of noise, which might disturb a sleeping toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller The Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its tiny size. The basket in the back of the seat has a spring loaded mechanism, which means you can pull the basket down to store the backpack or diaper bag and then it will open up to secure the contents. It's among the smallest strollers that fold (and includes a convenient carry case), and it comes with plenty of storage space, including cups holder. The seat reclines nearly flat for both the child and adult. This is the only stroller in our list that comes with a car seat adapter to allow it to be used with a newborn. The handlebar isn't adjustable and could pose a problem for some parents who are taller.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller single, but it is packed with great features to assist parents in traveling with their children. The large seat reclines to an upright position and comes with additional padding to make those plane naps more comfortable. The canopy extends to provide adequate sun protection, and the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has an adjustable footrest that can double as a handle when folded. This footrest is vulnerable to damage by baggage handlers.

Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller with top-quality design and high-end. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, but its sturdy construction means it can withstand rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions create a more comfortable ride for both of you, and its sturdy materials ensure it can withstand every day wear and tear without losing its shape. Plus it can be extended to accommodate additional items such as an infant car seat.

In our tests in our tests, the Minu was a breeze to fold and maneuver even with a baby in hand. Its squat nearly square fold which folds in thirds, is among the easiest in our tests and allows it to fit in overhead compartments on planes and public transport. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your babies must be able sit up on their backs before you can use it.

This stroller is brimming with features and comes at a price that is very reasonable. It scored higher in our maneuverability test than other strollers with similar specs. It's an excellent choice for smooth paved surfaces. It has a large parent tray, a canopy, and plenty of storage. The handlebar is a bit smaller than average and the front wheel suspension is more rigid however it's comfortable for adults.

If you have twins or two kids with different ages, you might consider a stroller that is side-by-side is the best single pushchair option to move them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which has a variety of features, and has a slim footprint that can fit where most other side-by-side options can't.
